6 Days a week we offer you an interesting and original way to see some of the best tourist sites in the heart of the city on a Segway Human Transporter. Reservations are essential and automated online, after which you will recieve the confirmation emails as will i (ie: so if you do not have the emails = i don´t and you are not expected on the tour-clear, excellent).
The Segway HT is the most advanced, self-balancing personal transport device that has been designed to operate in pedestrian environments. Easy to use and as safe as walking,...you could soon be gliding through the city centre sidewalks, offering fantastic photo opportunities. Experience and sightseeing? "It’s a must when you are in Madrid" (previous customers comments, but i do agree).
Fantastic morning segway glides of Madrid (Apr-Oct)
Morning glides start at 10:00
Starting with an introduction and training on the Segway HT, our 3 hour glide / tour will give you a great orientation of the western city centre. Passing the royal gardens, Opera, Templo de Debod (Egyptian Temple), Plaza de España (meeting point) and the Palace amongst others. A coffee/refreshment stop on route will allow you to take a break and chat about your experience on the Segway HT or more about the fantastic sights you have seen. Tours are flexible and depend on the ability of all the customers on the segway on that tour. Safety and fun of the entire group always comes first, then i can show you some sights.
Winter segway glides of Madrid (Nov-Mar)
Winter glides start at 12:00
The 3 hour winter glide follows the same itinerary as the summer glides so read that information and save me repeating it. Only once per day at the warmest time of the day, as Madrid can be a bit chilly in the mornings and evenings.
A refreshment / coffee is included in the tour price. You will recieve a CD with your photos taken by myself after the tour (my hobby)so that you can show your friends and family back home what a great time you had in Madrid.
Children under 18 accompanied by there parents (as i am not a babby sitter) are welcome but they cannot share a segway with you (yes they will have there own for the duration of the tour.) Note: To date my youngest client was 6 and the oldest 85....im sure you fall somewhere in-between, it´s easy (for almost everyone), fun (so far 100%) and can be enjoyed by almost everyone.
